  • Calaveras County Office of Education Child Development Programs
    The Calaveras County Office of Education Extended Day Program is a child care program located at elementary schools on the Hwy 4 Corridor. Funding comes from parent fees and a subsidy program for low and middle income families. After school activities include homework help and enrichment projects. The summer program is all day recreation based, providing weekly field trips, swimming opportunities and craft, nature and reading projects.
    Building Bridges State funded Preschool is offered in Copperopolis!

  • First 5 Calaveras
    Program Facilitates partnerships and fund strategies that strengthen families and support them in raising healthy children ages 0-5 years old.

  • The Resource Connection - Child Care Resource & Referral
    The Resource Connection gives referrals to local licensed child care homes, preschools and centers. Assists in the licensing process, and provides child care resources for parents and providers.
    Also referrals to many community services such as children’s services, education, health, housing, legal assistance, and nutrition.

  • The Resource Connection - Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool
    Head Start/Early Head Start provides comprehensive early education programs for children from birth to age 5 in Calaveras County. The program focuses on the ‘whole child’ and engages children and their families striving to create partnerships with parents to provide services that best meet their needs

  • Calaveras Unified School District Growing Together Preschool and Kid's Place
    Calaveras Unified School District offers private pay and State Preschool spaces at Growing Together Preschool sites. Kid's Place is an school age program that offers private pay and ASES spaces at various elementary school locations.
